• You will be picked up from your hotel/residence in Calangute, Baga, Arpora and Candolim area.
• Post pick up you will be driven to the following places:
• Saligao Church: Built in 1873, the Mae de Deus or Mother of God Church is the finest example of Neo-Gothic architecture in Goa. It houses the miraculous statue of Mae de Deus (Mother of God) which was brought from the ruins of the convent of Mae de Deus at Old Goa. With its Gothic spires and pristine white walls, it reminds one of a fairytale castle. The church is open to tourists every day from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
• Old Goa Church: The Basilica of Bom Jesus is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the only basilica in Goa. Its un-plastered exterior appears at first glance to be inferior as compared to the sparkling facades of churches like the Se Cathedral, but this little Basilica is rich in art, architecture, and history, and the relics of Saint Francis Xavier are enshrined here. The Basilica is open to the public for viewing and exploration from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Saturday and 10:30 am to 6:30 pm on Sunday.
• Se Cathedral: The Se Cathedral is the most imposing of all the churches at Old Goa. The construction of Se Cathedral in Goa started in 1562 and ended in 1652. The hundred years spent on this construction, have indeed been well worth it. With its superb Iberian façade, soaring ceilings, fabulous mosaic work, intricate wood, and gilded carvings, the Se Cathedral, also sometimes called St. Catherine's cathedral is an absolute must-see for any visitor in Goa. The cathedral is open every day from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
• Panjim Church: The Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church was originally a chapel built 1541. This chapel was later rebuilt, in 1619, into the church that stands there today. This church houses the ancient bell (the second largest of its kind in Goa, surpassed only by the Golden Bell which resides in the Se Cathedral) that was removed from the Augustinian ruins of the Church of Our Lady of Grace. The church is open to the public every day from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
• Mala Temple: Situated in the Mala area the Maruti Temple is holy for the Goan Hindus and is dedicated to the monkey god Lord Hanuman.
• Miramar Beach: This beautiful ‘urban’ beach, akin to Chowpatty in Mumbai, is located just 3 km from Panaji. From the beach across the river is an excellent view of Fort Aguada.
• Dona Paula viewpoint: The idyllic rocky tourist attraction lies at the spot where the Mandovi and the Zuari rivers meet and confluences with the Arabian Sea. One of the attractions in Dona Paula is a whitewashed statue perched on the rocks near the ferry jetty.
• After the completion of your tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel/residence.
